Gabe Marzano wins the 2020 ARN Women in ICT Rising Star Award
Congratulations to Gabe Marzano from NEXTGEN’s Cyber Security team on the recent announcement of her success in the 2020 ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA). Gabe won the Rising Star Award in the Distribution category, a fitting acknowledgement for how much she has achieved so quickly.
Since joining NEXTGEN in 2019 to lead the Cyber Security practice and go-to-market, Gabe has been instrumental in growing her business unit revenues by a whopping 594 per cent in 18 months, while onboarding a series of next-generation cyber security vendors to create a complementary solution portfolio that is in high demand.
With over 260 nominations and 110 finalists, 2020 was a record-breaking year for WIICTA, the most competitive field in the award’s history and further testament to Gabe’s outstanding work at NEXTGEN. The finalist nominees were shortlisted by a panel consisting of ARN Editor Leon Spencer and ARN Senior Journalist Julia Talevski, with the winners then selected by a judging panel of more than 40 ICT industry leaders, acknowledging the remarkable creativity, innovation, and excellence on display.
Gabe, you are quickly galvanizing your status in this industry and we couldn’t be prouder. NEXTGEN champions diversity and female representation in the ICT industry and we’re so happy to call you one of our own. From everyone at NEXTGEN, we salute you, and we look forward to continuing to watch you flourish.
