Micro Focus on-boards NEXTGEN in Singapore

Reported this week in Channel Asia, Micro Focus has signed a distribution agreement with NEXTGEN in Singapore, extending the channel partnership beyond Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) markets.

The move comes as part of the continuing expansion of Micro Focus’s Asian go-to-market strategy as the company continues to expand and invest in the region. There will be increased emphasis on supporting the partner community with new innovative tools within their partner program, a focus on driving improvement in technical capabilities and a refined approach to operational efficiency.

"The successful four plus year partnership between Micro Focus and NEXTGEN in our Australian and New Zealand markets, has been one that has been built on mutual trust, honesty and respect. This has resulted in our business being afforded the opportunity to become part of Micro Focus’s go to market in Asia,” said Wendy O’Keeffe, NEXTGEN Asia’s Executive VP and Managing Director. “My team and I are committed to ensuring that we offer the same high level of support as we do in ANZ and delivering above expectations as we become part of the Micro Focus community in this region.”

Micro Focus’s security portfolio complements our growing number of Network and Security vendors. Highly ranked in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Security testing, the Micro Focus Fortify software enables enterprises to protect applications from security vulnerabilities with integration, automation and remediation at the speed of DevOps. Fortify for instance, is a must for any organisation developing applications, and is just an example of the breadth of technology available within the Micro Focus security portfolio.
